Terrance Kelly, Minister of Magnification

Terrance Kelly son of the late jazz legend Ed Kelly is an international Emmy Award winning Musician and the Minister of Music Magnification at the Imani Community Church of Oakland CA.
Mr. Kelly has acquired extensive musical credentials in both gospel and jazz. Along with his directing Imani’s Voices of Faith Choir, Terrance is also the artistic musical director of both the adult and youth Oakland Interfaith Choirs and has been so since 1986.
In 1997, 2003 and 2005 Terrance received the Gospel Music Academy award for best director of Gospel music, Terrance has also arranged and directed choral music on albums for singer Linda Ramstad and has created gospel arrangements of popular music for television and video sound tracks
Terrance has travel all over the United States and portions of Canada conducting musical workshops; he has also directed choirs at the International Music Vestibule in Sidney Australia and is currently creating a Gospel Music Enterprise in Costa Rica, South America.
Terrance is also a much sought after and popular Baritone soloist with and extensive operatic voice range. As the minister of Magnification for Imani Terrance also has artistic oversight and management of the Yawatume Liturgical dancers of Imani.
Mr. Kelly brings inspiration, musical expertise and God’s grace to the music ministry of Imani, too the appreciation of his Pastor Rev. DR. George Cummings and a very appreciative membership of the imani Community Church.
